This initiative has concluded. Thank you for supporting The Thousand Book Challenge!

This special edition of Killian B. Brewer’s The Rules of Ever After supported two groups that are very special to Interlude Press and its Young Adult imprint, Duet Books—The Trevor Project and the U.S. public library system.

Sales of this special edition provided funds for The Trevor Project's crisis intervention and teen suicide prevention efforts and spurred print copy donations of The Rules of Ever After to libraries across the US. This initiative was created to help build a foundation for LGBTQ content featuring relatable characters and life-affirming messages for teens and young adults.

THE TREVOR PROJECT: Founded in 1998 by the creators of the 1994 Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis-intervention and suicide-prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13 to 24. Every day, The Trevor Project saves young lives through its free and confidential phone, chat, and text services, as well as online community, in-school workshops, educational materials, resources, and advocacy.
